The seven-seater SUV segment is now slowly developing in the Indian market. The trend to launch a 7-seater version of a 5-seater SUV started in the market last year when MG decided to launch Hector Plus. Later, the trend was followed by manufacturers like Tata and Hyundai. Manufacturers like Mahindra and Jeep will also be coming to market soon with 7-seater SUVs. Tata Safari which launched earlier this year is a popular SUV in the segment. It’s now a commonly spotted SUV on our roads and here we have a video where the real Safari accessories are shown.

It starts from the front. Tata offers a bumper corner protector. It is basically a set of four chrome trims which are placed on the corner of the bumper. The cost of these bumper corner protectors is Rs 2,072. Then it goes to the side profile where more accessories are available for the SUV. Tata offers a door visor for the Safari. This is a genuine accessory from Tata and it costs Rs 4,999. The door visor comes in a set of six and has a chrome liner.
The next accessory for Safari is the body side molding. The beading of the molding is actually finished in chrome and it costs Rs 3,934. Tata also offers mud flaps which cost around Rs 1,050. A running board is also offered as a real accessory for Safari. The cost of the step for Safari is around Rs 18,989.
Vlogger then switches to the rear profile of the Safari and shows the accessories available here. A chrome trim is available for the fake exhaust tips on the bumper and it costs Rs 1,779. It is a successful product for Tata in the Indian market and Safari and Harrier offer a similar feature set. Safari offers a touchscreen infotainment screen, multifunction steering wheel, power driver’s seat, automatic climate control, large panoramic sunroof, leather-wrapped seats, and more.
Safari and Harrier are both powered by the same engine. It uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine that generates 170 hp and 350 Nm of maximum torque. The engine is available with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission option. The same engine is also used in the Jeep Compass and MG Hector.
